JW Anderson is the newest fashion designer to give a makeover to the Diet Coke bottle. Following the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier, JW Anderson is all set to put his creative skills to test by designing a Diet Coke bottle inspired from his autumn-winter 2015 women’s ready to wear collection. It also marks the first time that Diet Coke has used photography on its bottles.j-w-anderson-diet-coke_2Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson, who founded J.W.Anderson, has also created two T-shirts and a notebook to accompany the launch. All of it is a part of Diet Coke’s Regret Nothing campaign, which encourages consumers to “embrace their impulsive side”.

Anderson commented, “I view Diet Coke as a pop-culture icon so I was excited to have the opportunity to put my stamp on Regret Nothing. You can expect something completely different with lots of cool surprises.” Bobby Brittain, GB marketing strategy and activation director for Coca-Cola, said. “This collaboration is unlike any of Diet Coke’s previous designer partnerships so we can’t wait to unveil what will truly be an inspiring fashion-forward collection.”

A limited-edition collector’s box set – featuring JW Anderson’s Diet Coke bottles and notebook – will be available from Harvey Nichols stores nationwide from August 17.
