Nice piece from designer Kimberly McDonald.
Jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald, known for her inventive use of geodes and agates paired with diamonds, has created a series of turtle designs, for which a percentage of sales will be donated to Conservation International. The playful turtles are made of agate bodies and set in gold and diamond rings, bracelets, and pendants. The series was unveiled at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, among other retailers, and prices range from $3,500 to $35,000. This is the designer’s second capsule collection to benefit Conservation International. Last fall, she debuted a series of polar bear pieces to raise awareness of the plight of the creatures. – From Robb Report
