After introducing Moschino to the U.S. in Los Angeles, Jeremy Scott has teamed up with Adidas Originals to launch his first fragrance for the German sportswear brand. Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott is a unisex composition developed by renowned perfumers Maurice Roucel and Philippe Roques.
Concocted to resemble the smell of “white towels freshly laundered on a summer’s day”, the fragrance opens with feminine notes of rose and Calabrian bergamot, followed by more masculine accords of white pepper, incense and cashmere. Designed to pay tribute to Jeremy Scott Wings 2.0 high-top sneakers for Adidas, the bottle is shaped in form of Mercury’s winged sandals but with sneakers at the base. Developed in collaboration with Coty, the mini glass sneaker comes in a small shoebox with a snap closure.
Captured by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Jeremy Scott is also the face of the advertising campaign of the fragrance designed by him for Adidas.
All set to fly off the shelves with a global premiere scheduled in February, the fragrance will be released in a limited edition of 10,000 units. The Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott 75 ml Eau de Toilette will be available for $105.
