Hollywood is home to many divas, actors, celebrities and talented artists. Like each year, Forbes has rolled out a list of top-earning actresses for 2015 and for the first time ever, the ranking examined the world’s highest-paid leading ladies to create a truly global list of actress earnings. The list is topped by Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.

1. Jennifer Lawrence – $52 million

The 25 year old American actress is the world’s highest paid actress for 2015 by earning more than any other actress thanks to playing a female action hero Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy. The romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook actress also nets in a sizeable income by being the face of Dior.

2. Scarlett Johansson – $35.5 million

PIN ITSecond on the highest paid list is Scarlett Johansson. One of Hollywood’s modern sex symbols has been known to ask over $10 million for a movie. She made it big with her role in Avengers: Age of Ultron and her first solo action hero role in Lucy. The 30 year old actress who is also a singer and a model has also stared in campaigns for fashion houses like Louis Vuitton and has been the face of the Dolce & Gabbana. She is also the first Hollywood celebrity to become an ambassador for a Champagne House, after she became the spokesperson for Moët & Chandon.

3. Melissa McCarthy – $23 million

PIN ITAlthough $29 million less than the highest paid actress, Melissa McCarthy held on to the third slot of list with $23 million under her belt. The Bridesmaids star is turning to fashion, launching an all-sizes clothing line to help to break down the size barriers within women’s fashion.

4. Bingbing Fan – $21 million

PIN ITThe only non-American on the international ranking is Bingbing Fan best-known for her role in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The Chinese actress joins the highest-paid thanks to roles in movies such as The White-Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom and endorsements with Chopard and L’Oreal.

5. Jennifer Aniston – $16.5 million

PIN ITThe fifth highest earning actress of 2015 is 46 year old Jennifer Aniston. Also crowned as one of the world’s most beautiful women, the Rachel Green of Friends makes fewer movies but still earns from endorsements.
