No vehicle is associated more with World War II than the ever-present Jeep. The rugged utility vehicle is ingrained in the memories of Americans not only through their experiences, but via thousands of movies and TV shows.
Wisely, Jeep is not just banking on nostalgia to sell the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition. They’ve made the new Jeep fully functional – stripping it down for optimal off-road performance. It has limited-slip rear differential, Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, and rock rails. Under the hood there’s a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 285 horsepower – more than enough to tackle any of your off roading needs.
Coated in olive paint, the only thing you’ll need to do is add the big white star the hood.
The Willys Wheeler Edition is built in Toledo, Ohio. It hits the showrooms next spring at a starting price of $25,795 for the two-door model and $29,595 for the four-door model.
