Jay-Z continues to expand his empire. The rapper has continually ventured out of music over the years into fashion (Reebok as well as his recent line at Barney’s), technology (Samsung, HP, Bing) and watches (with Hublot) – and that’s just to name a few industries. Now comes his new Comador Cigar line.
The line is made in concert with General Cigar Company. It bears the prestigious Cohiba label. The cigars are made in the Dominican Republic.
So what makes these special? Experts say that Comador is made from the finest tobacco. It takes over two years of blending to create its rich flavor. The tobacco is set in a Connecticut broadleaf binder and wrapped in a Connecticut Havana wrap. It them sits for six months in a cedar lined room where the flavor intensifies.
If you want the cigars alone, you are out of luck. Jay-Z’s Cohiba Comador cigars only come as part of a package: a humidor, 21 cigars and a travel case. Cost is $1,000.
