Jaguar unleashed the high-performance XKR-S GT at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The track-designed auto will be coming to the U.S. this summer – although you need to step up quick, as only 25 of these two-door coupes will be coming to the states, while five will be shipped to Canada. Despite being designed for track use, the XKR-S GT will be street-legal.
Those lucky enough to get hold of a XKR-S GT will have their hands full of power. There’s a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 the produces 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. This power is pushed to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and an active rear differential. An aluminum body keeps weight at a minimum.
The XKR-S GT will be priced from $174,000.
