Irina Shayk Is The New L’Oréal Paris Ambassador

Irina Shayk joins L’Oréal Paris as its newest brand ambassador. The gorgeous Russian model joins the likes of Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively, Lara Stone and Natasha Poly who are already a part of the stunning L’Oreal family.

Landing the opportunity of lending her face to one of the most coveted beauty brand, Shayk states, “It’s such an honour to be a L’Oréal Paris ambassador and to be among such a powerful, smart, hardworking and extraordinary group of diverse women. My personal memories of the brand go way back to the time when I was a teenager. L’Oréal make-up felt like a real luxury for me and I remember dreaming of purchasing a L’Oréal lipstick.” She also adds, “To me being worth it means being independent and carving your own path. The L’Oréal woman is worth it because she wants to be.”

Sharing her experiences, Irina also reveals that as a teenager she experimented a lot with hair color and messed up awfully. Throwing light on her current beauty care and the secret behind her glowing skin, she shares, “Now, I always start my day with cleaning and moisturising my skin. Sometimes I use ice cubes to wake up my skin – my mother always does it and she has such beautiful skin. If I work, I always protect my skin with a primer before applying any make-up. I love the L’Oréal Paris BB Cream because I don’t need to apply extra foundation; it is lightweight yet a little goes a long way.”

Citing Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Taylor as well as her grandmother as her role models, she also explains that cosmetics definitely inspire confidence and are a huge part of her life and helps to express her femininity.

On her instagram account, Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend also mentions, “I’m so excited, and honored to announce that I am joining the@lorealparisofficial family, as their new international spokesperson!! To stand beside the likes of @jlo@juliannemoore, @evalongoria and Jane Fonda.. All icons, of whom I’ve looked up to, is a dream come true.
