A new treatment shows early promise for boosting memory in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
In the study, the patients with Alzheimer’s who were treated with a lower dose of an insulin nasal spray tended to score better on memory tests than patients who were not treated with insulin.
The study was reported in Honolulu at the International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease 2010.
