The Pretty Woman is busy shopping for properties in Malibu to keep herself happy. Julia Roberts and her husband Matthew Moder have shelled out $6.84 million for a new Malibu mansion. 
The Point Dume estate is the second property of the 48-year-old star in the same locality. Nestled in one of the most desired address, the new property was fiercely pursued by Julia as it sits across the street from her current clifftop compound.
The fifties ranch-style home sitting on 1.16 acres was listed with just three bedrooms and two bathrooms. However Julia must be having some major plans up her sleeve to remodel the property to complement her existing Malibu address.
The 1,770 square feet home also comes with a living room featuring a slopped wood ceiling with exposed beams, a fire place and original wood floors. Meals can be cooked in a compact kitchen with white tiles and wood flooring.
Roberts’ new pad also comes with a separate den to render private relaxing time. 
The property also features landscaped grounds with a large circular drive and motor court at the front. It welcomes with a shaded sitting area with built-in fire pit, vegetable gardens and a small grove of rare fruit trees.
The backside opens to a stone-tiled terrace overlooking a lawn and a vine covered pergola adjacent to lavender garden.
Recently Julia Roberts sold her Greenwich Village apartment in New York for $5.35 million.
