After renting out his exclusive Tampa mansion to Tampa Bay Buccaneer Tom Brady, iconic New York Yankee legend Derek Jeter and his supermodel wife, Hannah, have made their next move. They’ve now listed their custom-designed private estate on Davis Islands for a stunning $29 million.
“This is the most impressive home to ever hit the market in the Tampa Bay area,” said Stephen Gay, of Smith & Associates Real Estate.
It is a 30,875-square-foot estate that was built in 2012 and sits on 1.25 acres. It has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, eight half-baths, and almost 9,000 square feet of outdoor space that includes two boat lifts and an 80-foot-long pool. According to the listing, it’s the biggest home in south Tampa and the largest waterfront property assembled on Davis Islands.
Jeter spent four years constructing the huge, custom-built home on the 1.25-acre lot—by far the biggest on Davis Islands—completing the project in 2011. The roughly 1.3-mile, man-made island is minutes from downtown Tampa and is one of the city’s prime residential neighborhoods.
However, Tom and Gisele haven’t shown any interest in buying the estate, which according to Gay, is “the most impressive home to ever hit the market in the Tampa Bay area.”
