LED lamps evoke the modern edge of contemporary organic-shaped lights. French designer Mathieu Lehanneur incorporated the fluffiness and transparency of clouds into a modern lamp that illuminates its surroundings like mirroring light from the sun. Named the Cloudy Lamp, this modern LED lamp appears as “a ray of sun after the rain”, constructing a positive atmosphere around it.
Gradient elegance encompassing LED lamp technology
Clear and translucent white glass was combined with high-luminosity LEDs to shape a fabulously engineered LED lamp. The glass-blown lamp was designed for manufacturer Fabbian and created by using complex steel molds that gave the design its uniqueness. Embodied in a gradient white blown glass and die-cast aluminum structure, the power of light encompassed in creative shapes sets the mood of the space it illuminates.
Indoor spaces showcasing natural light by day would be beautifully lit by the cloud-shaped lamp at night. Expanding the influence of organic shapes in modern lamp design, the young designer created an alternative that generates a sense of natural elegance.
There are two versions of this beautiful glass lamp: one is the suspended shape that glows above your head, while the other is a light fitting. Both are lit by high-power LED lamps so which one would be your first choice?
