The Hotel Metropole in Monte Carlo unveils the results of its collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. The designer created a poolside mural, featuring 18 glass panels on which were printed old photos of the Greek coastline superimposed with images of his models, recreating different scenes from Greek literature.
The hotel is also opening a third Joel Robuchon restaurant, within a unique artistic setting designed by Lagerfeld, with a new culinary concept. This incredible duo, Robuchon and Lagerfeld, are coming together to reflect the hotel’s philosophy: a true symbol of luxury and elegance in the 21st Century.
Opened in 2004, the Hotel Métropole in Monte-Carlo was designed by the world famous interior designer Jacques Garcia who has created a true 21st Century palace. This contemporary and elegant hotel combines a subtle blend of its glorious past with Mediterranean tones. Thanks to Yoshi, Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo, overseen by Jean-Claude Messant, has become a true gastronomic destination. Aside from Yoshi, the hotel offers its local and international clientele the Restaurant Joël Robuchon Monte-Carlo – 2 Michelin stars – the Lobby Bar, the most buzzing space in the Principality, and the swimming pool restaurant, a haven in the heart of the hotel. The Métropole ESPA Monte-Carlo joined the close-knit circle of ‘Leading Spas of the World’ soon after its opening in 2006, and offers a range of treatments using modern techniques as well as ancient therapies from around the world for the well-being of the face and the body.
