The French luxury house is emphasizing that Time is the most valuable by unveiling three outstanding timepieces at Baselworld 2016. Hermès woos watch lovers with Faubourg Manchette Joaillerie, Slim d’Hermès Pocket Panthère and Pocket Plein Cuir at the recently concluded international watch and jewelry event. The 2015 Faubourg Manchette made a statement as an all leather-clad cuff watch paying tribute to the original harness- and saddle-making expertise of Hermès. For 2016, the label adds glamour to Faubourg Manchette Joaillerie by bejeweling the gold case with hand-crafted 36-gemstone baguette setting of diamonds, emeralds, blue or brown sapphires. Unveiled in 2014, the Faubourg watch is the perfect embodiment of stylish elegance in miniature, making it a woman’s perfect companion.
Hermès Watchmaker unveils a unique creation with Slim d’Hermès Pocket Panthère. Time is monitored by a great cat, panther, featured on the dial inspired by an illustration of the artist Robert Dallet. The latest addition to the watch collections of the Maison features an ultra-thin 2.6 mm H1950 calibre delivering a 42-hour power reserve. Lastly, the Pocket plein cuir watch by Hermès stands a test in time to honor its leather and watchmaking skills, boasting a surprising fastening system and an exceptional leather sheath. At the heart sits a white gold case holding a precious dial crafted using the ancient Grand Feu enamel technique. The 54mm Pocket plein cuir is powered by the Manufacture Hermès H1912 movement and is available in three shades of burgundy, elegant grey and sapphire blue.
Also don’t miss out on the earlier versions of the Faubourg family that includes the Faubourg Joaillerie Watch.
