Time gets more precious as Hermès unveils just six pieces of the Slim d’Hermès Mille Fleurs du Mexique watch. Entirely crafted within the in-house workshops, this limited edition, numbered timepiece displays time as well as the most unique pictorial work.
Encased in round, 39.50mm white gold case, the dial is inspired by a Hermès silk scarf created by the graphic designer Laetitia Bianchi. Paying homage to the art of miniature painting and using the mother-of-pearl dial as its canvas, the artisan breathes life on to it by applying 20 layers of painting. The “Mille Fleurs” motif features an array of cut leaves and flowers, reminiscent of the 15th and 16th century tapestries after which it is named.
Featuring light, pared-down lines which is the signature of the Slim collection, the watch is powered by ultra-thin self-winding Manufacture Hermès H1950 movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve. Hermès Slim d’Hermès Mille Fleurs du Mexique watch is water resistamt up to 100 feet and is complete with an in-house alligator strap fitted with a white gold pin buckle.
