This new outpost is intended to lure new as well as existing clients to discover the silk collection in a different way. Targeting the youth, it is designed to render an experience unlike the one like walking into the French labels’ Madison Avenue boutique.

Robert Chavez, President and CEO of Hermès USA described the oval shaped kiosk as youthful, fun and inspired by a retro diner. Located at the entrance of the building, it sports an orange neon “Diner” sign that says “Hermès” at the front and back of the kiosk. To add on to the ambiance, a “menu” in form of a neon chalkboard will list the “Daily Silk Specials” and other sale options. Bali Barret, the brand’s artistic director of the feminine universe conceptualized the décor to “shake up the image of Hermès a little, serving up a more playful and casual atmosphere.”
