NY Fashion Week will feature the first Helmut Lang catwalk show in five years.
The Helmut Lang brand was once one of the most popular in world, featuring luxury fabrics and minimalist cuts. After being sold to Prada in 2004 – and Lang’s subsequent departure – the label was sold to Theory of Japan in 2006. Link Theory relaunched the brand in 2007, and now it is under the design and direction of Michael and Nicole Colovos. The move has re-energized the brand and brought it back to prominence. The Helmut Lang label is now in luxury department stores and Helmut Lang boutiques around the world.
The show will be September 10, and will be screened on the brand’s website.
