Held every two years in Paris, the Biennale des Antiquaires is a great opportunity for galleries, antique dealers and jewelers to show their best pieces to a unique assembly of people coming from all over the world. Harrods has bought this dazzling splendor to London by showcasing one-of-a-kind exhibition featuring luxury jewelry and watches from the fair. The Knightsbridge store has exclusively recreated the legendary Parisian annual exhibition by bringing together nine of the official Biennale brands under the roof of its Fine Jewellery department. Apart from the iconic Grand Palais, Harrods has been honoured as the only venue to hold this exclusive event.
Graff, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chanel, Dior, Bulgari, Boucheron, Chaumet and Piaget will be showcasing a selection of their latest and most exquisite pieces. The luxury department store is offering an exclusive opportunity to experience the outstanding collection for the first time ever in London.
At the same time, Harrods will also be recreating the Biennale’s Fine Watch Room, with a selection of exquisite watches from the likes of Piguet, Strauss, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Jaeger-LeCoultre on show.
Helen David, Harrods Fashion Direct of Womenswear, Accessories, Fine Jewellery & Childrenswear, makes a statement about the fair, “The Biennale at Harrods demonstrates our firm commitment to providing the most exclusive, one-of-a-kind retail experience for our customers…The celebrations in-store will recreate the magical essence of the Parisian Biennale in the familiar and elegant surrounds of Harrods.”
While Jason Broderick, Harrods Fashion Director of Menswear, Sports and Fine Watches, mentioned that each watch maker will have the chance to display some of their finest one-off pieces providing an exclusive retail theatre for Harrods’ customers.
