Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs has thrown open its doors to welcome guests in true rockstar fashion. The splendid opening of the hotel was marked with the breaking of a dozen guitars which is the brand’s signature style to celebrate the opening of their new property!
The classic Hard Rock Guitar Smash, courtesy Fender, featured some of the event’s top celebrities including The Hills star, Audrina Patridge, and Hard Rock International executives.
Amplifying the opening night’s energetic atmosphere, the hotel welcomed guests with legendary surroundings which included illuminated dancers and top-notch light shows. It is also reported that an LA-based DJ group, The Embassy, shook the house and set the tone right! The party came to life as guests took to the turntables and tried their hands at mixing beats like a pro, while others opted to strum exclusive Fender guitars as part of the brand’s music amenity program, The Sound of Your Stay.
The debut event also witnessed the popular American electronic rock duo, Phantogram, perform by poolside.
Claiming to be the first music-inspired hotel in Palm Springs, the 163-room Hard Rock hotel is the latest must-visit destination for music lovers and travelers. The hot Southern California property also includes a buzzing pool with cabanas. It is the Mecca of entertainment with DJs playing every weekend along with excellent dining opportunities and rocking events.
The hotel also offers a long list of amenities including the groundbreaking, interactive “Sound Of Your Stay,” where guests can rock out with hands-on music experiences. Other music-inspired amenities include a VIP Rock Star Suite, a Rock Spa, a Body Rock workout facility, and the world-famous Rock Shop featuring Hard Rock’s iconic, collectible merchandise.
Designed by Mister Important Design, the interiors for the Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs, California resonates the vibe of Palm Springs and the Coachella music and art festival. Mister Important Design is an award-winning design studio based in California and the impressive decor work has been executed under the direction of owner Charles Doell in tow with the firm’s architect, James Cioffi.
The Speaker sculpture by German artist Benoit Maubrey speaks volumes of the music-inspired hotel.
The custom entrance mural has been designed by Mr. Brainwash.
The memorabilia wall features photographs by Bay Area photographer, Paige Parsons and the “Fun” sign from the band Fun.
