The fashion house has donated three iconic bags from their 2013 collection to help raise money for the charity which supports education, health and justice for women. Christie’s will offer these bags for online auction only, from 23rd September to 30th September. The three unique bags include the New Bamboo Bag, the New Jackie Bag and the Soft Stirrup Bag.
The medium Roccia and light olive Las Vegas python New Bamboo Bag features pale gold tone metal trimmings. Picked from the brand’s latest collection, it features an exceptional bamboo handle, emphasizing the tassels too. This one is expected to fetch £2,500 – £3,500 ($4,010 – $5,614).
The New Jackie Bag is re-incarnation of Gucci style worn by former First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Featuring medium starfish and cocao Acquarello Python, this one flaunts brown suede tassels. It is expected to go under the hammer for £4,000 – £6,000 ($6,416 – $9,624).
The large Soft Stirrup Bag, which is a new version the brand’s 1975 design, in blue washed calf leather is expected to sell for £1,000 – £2,000 ($1,604 – $3,208).
