Meet the unlikely Facebook millionaire. In 2005, graffiti artist David Choe was hired to paint murals on the walls of Facebook’s first offices in Palo Alto, Calif., by then Facebook’s president Sean Parker. As pay, Parker offered the San Jose artist a choice between cash in the “thousands of dollars,” or the equivalent in stock. Choe, who has said that at the time that he thought the idea of Facebook was “ridiculous and pointless,” decided to pick the option of Facebook stock. With the upcoming Facebook IPO, Choe’s payment will be valued at $200 million.
