Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is set to star in the next Chanel N°5 film, with Australian director Baz Luhrmann on the other side of the lens.
The Brazilian beauty was chosen by the French fashion house as the next muse for the fragrance for her ‘natural and modern’ femininity.
It isn’t the first time “The Great Gatsby” director Luhrmann has filmed a campaign for Chanel — he first shot an ad for the iconic fragrance back in 2004, starring his muse, Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
In that film, Kidman plays a famous and beautiful actress whisked away from her whirlwind life for an illicit adventure.
Bündchen, who has been the face of Chanel’s Les Beiges makeup line since 2013, joins a long line of Chanel N°5 stars, including heartthrob Brad Pitt and the original bombshell, Marilyn Monroe.
Previous film directors who have worked on campaigns for the fragrance have included Ridley Scott, Luc Besson and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
The campaign will be unveiled at the end of 2014.
