Giorgio Armani is expanding its Couture Editions line, part of the Armani/Privé Collection, with a new fragrance inspired by the Armani/Privé Ombre & Lumière apparel couture collection.
Layering, generous volumes and contrasts between sheer and opaque fabrics are among the hallmarks of the Italian design house’s Spring-Summer 2014 couture collection. Ahead of summer, the luxury brand continues to explore the theme of “Ombre & Lumière” (“shadow & light”) through an extraordinary and exclusive new perfume.
Like the three other fragrances in the Couture Editions line, Armani/Privé Ombre & Lumière is based on iris notes, which are accentuated in this case by Jasminum sambac. The perfume also combines notes of bergamot, freesia and ambroxan with musk extracts.
The luxurious flacon has a sculpture-like stopper made of smooth, polished resin in blue and purple tones.
The Ombre & Lumière fragrance will be available from May 20 in an extremely limited edition of 120 numbered flacons sold at select Giorgio Armani boutiques and a few high-end department stores.
