This fall, Gigi Hadid is all over the place facing the lenses for top brands all by herself or with her sister Bella Hadid. The latest fall campaign fronted by the model of the season is for Max Mara.
Gigi Hadid has already walked for the luxury Italian fashion house’s runway show and played Marilyn Monroe during Milan Fashion Week in February. Lending her name and face for the brand’s fall collection just followed without raising many eyebrows. 
George Barris’ 1962 shoot of Marilyn Monroe cuddling on the beach, wearing a chunky sweater or wrapped up in a green towel has been the inspiration of Max Mara’s fall collection as well as the campaign. Based on that, Anthony Maule recreated the Marilyn Monroe moment with Gigi Hadid by capturing her in New York. The 20 year old is pictured wearing a camel coat which is open enough to tease with a sexy cleavage. Hadid also appears in Max Mara’s campaign for eyewear. Max Mara’s fall 2015 campaign starring Gigi Hadid is set to hit the print in Aug.
Giorgio Guidotti, worldwide president of public relations and communications for Max Mara Group, told WWD, “We had never seen her in real life and when she came for the fitting, we realized she was the one.”
