Former Gucci creative director transformed into a Valetino bride as Frida Giannini walked down the aisle to wed former Gucci CEO Patrizio di Marco in Rome. The Italian fashion designer was dressed in a haute couture custom gown designed by her close friends Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Along with the sheer embroidered pale pink gown for the bride, Valentino creative directors also designed a pink dress with floral embellishments for Frida and Patrizio’s daughter Greta. Valentino posted a sketch of the dress on its Instagram account.

The super-stylish couple were in news for being ousted from their respective roles as creative director and chief executive of Gucci in December 2014.
