Here’s Frank Ocean in Band of Outsiders Spring 2013, photographed by Scott Sternberg at the Los Angeles Times Building.
LA based fashion label Band of Outsiders has released its latest collection of lookbook images, featuring the Grammy award-winning recording artist Ocean.
Ocean took home the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album at this year’s Grammys and made headlines with his visually stunning performance of his love song “Forrest Gump”.
Born in New Orleans, the 25-year-old star rose to acclaim as a member of the Odd Future hip-hop collective (also home to rappers Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt). His debut solo album, last year’s “Channel Orange” has sold over 500,000 copies since its release in July.
This time last year Band of Outsiders called on world famous artist Ed Ruscha to model its Spring 2012 clothes, and previous menswear lookbooks have featured “Harry Potter” stars Tom Felton and Rupert Grint, as well as indie-film legend Jason Schwartzman.
New images of Frank wearing the collection will continue to drop on the Band of Outsiders tumblr until this Sunday.
