Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley Announced

The iconic Four Seasons brand is set to elevate alpine luxury to unprecedented heights with the announcement of a new resort and residential development at Deer Valley’s East Village, Park City, Utah. Partnering with real estate powerhouse Extell Development Company, this new venture will combine world-class hospitality with ski-in/ski-out mountain living in one of North America’s most celebrated alpine destinations.

This announcement marks a historic moment, as Deer Valley’s East Village becomes the first new luxury alpine village in North America in over four decades. The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley will join the brand’s prestigious Mountain Collection, reinforcing its position as a global leader in high-end, adventure-driven hospitality.

Where Luxury Meets the Slopes

Poised at the heart of Deer Valley’s transformative East Village, the Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley will offer a rare blend of adventure, elegance, and exclusivity. Guests and homeowners will have direct access to the new 3,700-acre ski terrain expansion, which will soon make Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in North America.

Designed by ODA Architecture, the resort will feature 134 guest rooms and suites, each crafted to frame the natural beauty of the mountain landscape with floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and in-room fireplaces that deliver an authentic alpine retreat experience.

For those seeking a more permanent slice of mountain luxury, the development will also offer 123 private residences ranging from one to six bedrooms. With sizes spanning from 1,200 to 7,000 square feet (110 to 650 square meters), these serviced homes will deliver the same attention to detail and legendary service that Four Seasons is renowned for. Of these, 55 residences will be located directly above the resort, while 68 owner-exclusive units will be situated in a separate, amenity-rich building with one- to five-bedroom options.

According to Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Residential at Four Seasons, the resort is set to redefine mountain luxury. “By combining our legendary hospitality and residential offerings with this storied mountain setting, we look forward to offering another incomparable luxury retreat with our partners at Extell as they expand Deer Valley for future generations,” said Carnahan.

Elevated Living at East Village

Beyond the exceptional accommodations, the Deer Valley East Village will introduce a range of first-class amenities that promise to make it a year-round destination. Ski enthusiasts will enjoy seamless slopeside access, while guests and residents can take advantage of a state-of-the-art skier services facility and curated retail, dining, and après-ski experiences.

Summer visitors will be equally spoiled, with access to over 50 miles (80 kilometers) of hiking and biking trails, an ice rink, and indoor and outdoor pools with private cabanas offering expansive views. Year-round amenities will also include an indoor sports court, a ballroom, three meeting rooms, and an outdoor event terrace, making it a sought-after destination for both personal celebrations and corporate retreats.

Unparalleled Wellness & Gastronomy

Luxury living at Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley extends well beyond the slopes. Guests and residents alike will have access to an expansive wellness center offering world-class spa treatments, steam rooms, whirlpools, and saunas. The on-site fitness center will be equipped with cutting-edge training equipment for those looking to maintain their wellness routines.

Culinary excellence will be a cornerstone of the new resort experience. Guests can choose from four dining venues, including a ski-in/ski-out lounge with an outdoor terrace and fireplace, providing the ultimate après-ski setting. With an emphasis on farm-to-table and locally inspired cuisine, Four Seasons aims to elevate the dining scene in Park City to new heights.

The Power of Partnership

The Four Seasons and Extell partnership is no stranger to success, having already collaborated on several high-profile projects. Gary Barnett, Founder & Chairman of Extell Development Company, spoke of his excitement for the new venture.

“We believe a successful development results from a team of exceptional partners working together to deliver excellence,” said Barnett. “We are certain this will be the case with Four Seasons, who we have embarked on several successful projects with in the past. We look forward to creating something remarkable with Four Seasons in Deer Valley as we venture to redefine luxury both on the slopes and off at Deer Valley East Village.”

With seamless access to Salt Lake City International Airport (just a 40-minute drive away), the resort is perfectly positioned to attract a global clientele. Deer Valley is already a world-renowned ski destination, and with the addition of the Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences, it will now offer a luxury lifestyle experience on par with the world’s most exclusive alpine retreats.
