Each year, the world’s most accomplished winemakers, celebrity chefs, and culinary luminaries come together in one breathtaking setting at the Food & Wine Classic that will take place in Aspen from June 20 to June 22. Attendees at the Food & Wine Classic will have the opportunity to experience the pinnacle of good taste, mingle with stars, and enjoy a pleasure-packed weekend at the base of spectacular Aspen Mountain.
Food & Wine identifies the hottest culinary talent and trends and uses its industry connections to bring an all-star line-up and program to the FOOD & WINE Classic every year. The Food & Wine Classic is the epicurean brand’s signature event, bringing together the world’s foremost authorities on wine and food at over 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars led by such food and wine experts as Dana Cowin (editor of Food & Wine magazine), chefs Giada de Laurentis, Danny Meyer, Tom Colicchio and Marcus Samuelsson as well as Gail Simmons, a judge on Bravo’s Top Chef, and many others.
In addition, more than 300 wines and luxury lifestyle brands will gather together in the Grand Tasting Pavilion, the epicenter of the event, to feature and sample their newest products during the five Grand Tastings providing countless opportunities to mingle with world-famous chefs and wine experts.
The Classic in Aspen also hosts some of the best after-hours parties of the year, from the Last Bite Dessert Party, to the sumptuous meal prepared by Thomas Keller and Daniel Boulud at the top of Ajax mountain.
Simultaneously, American Express will host its 25th annual Restaurant Trade Program, a unique educational and networking event developed for the professionals who shape the world of hospitality. Designed to offer the tools and best practices that attendees need to stay ahead in today’s competitive marketplace, the American Express Restaurant Trade Program features a welcome reception, two exclusive opportunities to mix and mingle with fellow Trade attendees, and four panel discussions with leading restaurateurs, chefs and operators.
