Cervantes Mobile’s has released the Jorno, a nifty new accessory that is – essentially – a folding keyboard for the iPhone and iPad.
The price is $79, which may seem a bit steep, but for anyone who really NEEDS a keyboard, it might be an option. The Jorno folds up and can fit easily into a purse, bag or pocket.
The Jorno could gain traction with business travelers who want to travel light with an iPad or just their iPhone, but want the ease of a keyboard to catch up on email.
This is smart and filled with ingenuity, but it’s too expensive and too inaccessible for those who don’t carry around luggage bags with them with everything they need inside (including a folding keyboard for a phone that has a decent virtual one). What about the Apple Bluetooth keyboard? It’s working fine for me and it was the same price but prettier (aluminum).
