BMW will officially reveal the new 2-Series on October 25, but images of the car in its M235i trim have leaked out. The new 2-Series will replace the aging 1-Series.
Engine options are expected to mirror the 3-Series range, meaning the base 228i model will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 240 horsepower, and 235i will sport a 3.0-liter turbo six with 300 ponies.
The 2015 BMW 2-Series is expected in showrooms next spring in the coupe option. A convertible will follow later in 2014.
