Portuguese designer Fatima Lopes who shows twice a year in Paris during Fashion Week will launch her first fragrance called Be Mine in September.
Just like her prêt-à-porter collections, the designer’s first fragrance is feminine and full of passion and desire. Fatima Lopes wanted the scent to be “carnal” and “animal-like” and suggest a burst of “femininity.”
The essence, developed by Aurélien Guichar, centers on Virginia cedar with notes of frangipani flower, blackberry and vanilla. This combination is enriched by the amber-like accents of benzoin from Laos.
Be Mine comes in a cube-shaped glass bottle with an oversized diamond-shaped cap.
The fragrance will be available from September 2013. Prices start at €65 (50 ml spray).
