Designer Bijan Pakzad, whose many clients included Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Cruise, has died at age 67. He had suffered a stroke two days ago.
Simply known as ‘Bijan’ to colleagues, Pakzad designed not only fashions, but fragrances and jewelry. His boutique on the prestigious Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA, was one of the most expensive shops in the world. He was known for his passion for details and a refusal to compromise on quality.
Bijan’s work was not only desired by Hollywood stars and heads-of-states, but also by the top fashion designers throughout the world.
He was born in Iran, studied in Europe, before immigrating to the United States.
