Barcelona exudes a sense of timeless beauty, capturing visitors with a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Here is where the Ikibana Paral Restaurant unfolds its impressive interior design, welcoming guests with a surprising collection of modern design lines. The exuberant atmosphere stretches over a surface of 260 square meters, entangling two great cultures in an inspiring fusion of cultures. Japanese and Brazilian gastronomies meet in a lusciously designed space where minimalism meets a bustling atmosphere.
Designers of El Equipo Creativo managed to find common grounds within the two cultures. Landscape came in first on the list, guiding the designers towards an inspiring combination between important cultural elements. An artificial landscape denoting a lush Brazilian influence meet Ikebana – art of flower arrangement – in a picturesque design. Display windows capture the attention of passers-by, offering them a glimpse into the fascinating world awaiting beyond the glazed surfaces. Wood, leaves and flowers were encompassed in the concept, creating undulating trees that rise to shape the ceiling. Japanese respect for nature was intertwined with the cheery, colorful vibe of Brazilian culture to create islands of privacy with different vantage points throughout this intriguing space design.
