Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have sold their West Los Angeles home to Internet entrepreneur Sean Parker for $55 million. The sale will net DeGeneres and de Rossi a cool $15 million. They bought the home for $40 million just six months ago.
The designer home is located in the Holmby Hills area near West Los Angeles. It sits on more than two acres of land and has over 13,500 square feet of living space. The home’s open design features glass walls, vaulted ceilings, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a chef’s kitchen. Outside there’s a pool and lush landscaping. There’s also a guest home and tennis house.
Parker is famed for his role as a co-founder of Napster and an early investor in Facebook.
