Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, often at the forefront of all things digital (they were the first brand to livestream a fashion show and to let bloggers sit front row, use Twitter with a passion and maintain their own online magazine, Swide.com), took surprisingly long to start selling their collections on the web, but now it seems they found the right partner: together with e-tailer Yoox, Dolce & Gabbana will make their fashions available July 13 with content in seven languages and accessible from the new site as well as cell phones and social media.
DolceGabbana.com will sell all of the label’s collections, and in order to attract customers quickly, you won’t pay any shipping fees for the first three months.
