The house of Dior brings the charm of Paris to London with the opening of its new pop-up boutique in one of the most high-profile and prestigious Mayfair area, just a few steps from Hyde Park. Located at 10 Mount Street in the capital of England and nestled behind a Victorian façade, the loft-like space unveils a unique contemporary spirit.
The French luxury fashion house’s new ephemeral boutique is housed in a red brick Victorian building. Bringing the spirit of the label’s historic home at 30 Avenue Montaigne to London, the doors of the Mount Street Dior outpost will be open until early next year. Decorated with objects by renowned designers, the store spreads over 1,296 square feet. While the stained glass by Hubert Le Gall streams light throughout, it also boasts of Miroirs Gouttes by Hubert LeGall, a sofa by Vladimir Kagan and a Nuage table from Guy Rougemont. Iconic to Christian Dior, the rose graces the changing room area in the center of the store, while the latest collections from the house play across the screens that cover practically every wall.The ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear and leather goods collections designed by Raf Simons for autumn-winter 2015-2016 are presented in a bright space.
