Giles Deacon, Piers Atkinson and Rupert Sanderson have collaborated with the Minions, of Despicable Me fame, on a new fashion collection.
Called the Minions Bello Yellow Collection, Deacon noted that his pieces are inspired by “London in the swinging Sixties.” The new Minions movie, starring Sandra Bullock as the villainous Scarlet Overkill, premieres in theaters this summer and takes place in New York and London in the sixties
The Minions collection launches exclusively at Selfridges in London and Manchester June 11, following the film’s London premiere, then will expand globally in July, to stores starting with Colette in Paris.
