An island of 300 acres, located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca, is home to an exclusive resort entitled “Pangkor Laut“. There are no other buildings here, except for this eight luxurious villas, privately owned. A mix of “secluded bays curled around pristine beaches, evening skies woven with colour, and a deep sense of serenity” ensures a welcoming stay in a place of seclusion.
The villas are anchored in the landscape, either in the hills or right on the waves, elegantly connected by wooden bridges. Each private sea villa comes with spacious living zones, a large balcony with deck chairs and a bathroom with an oversized tub that opens onto the sea. The hillside units have an extra feature: large bathtubs which open out to the rainforest. Interiors blend traditional Asian elegance with the latest in modern comfort, resulting in guest rooms with a strong personality.
