The iconic Dapper Dans, the original boy band, are going ‘N Sync this week for Disney Parks’ latest touch of “Limited Time Magic.” On Main Street USA at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, catch the retro Dapper Dans singing new pop hits:
The barbershop quartet that usually performs nostalgic songs such as “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” in ice cream suits, straw boater hats and spats on Main Street USA will be performing as “the Original Boy Band” Feb. 25 through March 3.
This act was announced last fall at the Disney Parks’ unveiling of “Limited Time Magic,” special entertainment and dining events throughout 2013.
The Disney Parks website doesn’t say what boy bands the Dapper Dans will be channeling, but it mentions the songs “Bye Bye Bye,” “Everybody” (Backstreet Boys) and “What Makes You Beautiful” (One Direction).
Limited Time Magic events are themed celebrations that will last an entire week at the parks.
Disney’s plan is to amplify holiday fun with the events.
