Creative architects like Italian studio BoA Studio Architetti can create stunning homes anywhere. Take as example this elegant collection of interiors, part of one of the first cast-concrete structures in Treviso, Italy. Accessible via an iron and glass walkway beautifully lit during the night, the loft-like apartment captures direct sunlight through six skylights. Two large columns support the five meter high residential space, creating the possibility for a mezzanine level leading to the bedroom. This private space was imagined as a “building within the building”, maintaining its autonomous feature and overlooking the living space below through a large window.
Glass is used throughout the house, allowing natural light to caress every inch and composing a very contemporary design. A sculptural twisting staircase rises in the middle of the living room, right next to the glass-enclosed interior garden. This Private House is defined by a subtle elegance seen in the playful combination of whitewashed walls, wooden floors and carefully chosen furniture items that add color to the pristine space. If you had the chance to visit this incredible space, what detail would you like to see up close?
