A luxurious minimalism is displayed by today’s dream home – the Midnight Pass House. Patterns and materials are the elements that break the simple shapes and help construct a fabulous interior design. Large, bright and open spaces gathered under a two-story floor plan compose the interiors of this residence on an acre property in Sarasota, Florida. Designed by Sarasota-based studio DSDG Inc. Architects and built by Voigt Brothers Construction, the wooded waterfront residence was created for a family of five.
Arranged around a rounded double-height living room with a mezzanine level occupied by an open loft den, the spaces display a T-shape floor plan. An imposing glass and steel staircase connects the floors and offers the interiors a sumptuous atmosphere. Outside, family and guests are welcomed by a motor court with bamboo and palm trees. Finished off with a 2,500 square foot roof top terrace, the Midnight Pass House rises tall to offer comfort and wonderful views.
