Leblon House by Progetto Architetura & Interiores is a luxurious villa located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gisele Taranto and Izabela Lessa of Progetto Architetura & Interiores collaborated in creating the architecture and interior design of this magnificent residence. Comfort and visually delightful details were merged to create the 8,000 square foot modern house. Presenting itself as a single-family residence, the Leblon House was designed to shape a way of communicating with the outdoors while maintaining a contemporary style.
Extensive use of glass in key areas open up the floor plan to the backside garden, where a swimming pool and wooden terrace are seamlessly connected to the living and dining spaces. The first of three floors shelters the social and entertaining areas, while the first and second floor are occupied by the private spaces. These levels are connected by an elevator. Light control and privacy protection are obtained with the help of large white shutters on the front facade. These also contribute to a superb display for the passers-by.
