Inspired by the home featured in the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock thriller North by Northwest, this contemporary residence can be found in Houston, Texas. With its imposing architecture, the home features open spaces gathered under high ceilings where family life feels like a continuous cinematic composition adorned with the finest high-quality details. Texas-based architecture studio Charles Todd Helton imagined a home with character that gives off a “Frank Lloyd Wright” feel. Named Leblanc-Cox Residence, this unique home is defined by comfort and elegance throughout its spacious floor plan.
Perfect for both a cozy family lifestyle and entertaining guests, the house opens to the surroundings via large windows. In order to offer a comfortable interior atmosphere, the architects chose warm materials like wood and stone, beautified with a carefully selected collection of furniture. Overhangs and the existence of trees on the property help maintain a constant temperature inside, preventing the interiors from overheating during summer days. Next to the main residence, a guest home welcomes visitors and offers them privacy. A stunning pool showcases multiple levels and waterfalls, while the courtyard invites everyone to enjoy the sunshine surrounded by green details.
