The simple life has its own wonderful features that architects learned can be enhanced through landscape and interior/exterior design. Merging with the surroundings, the fascinating minimalist JD House was carefully constructed to give maximum privacy to all the interior spaces. High above the street level, the residence is the perfect blend of protective indoor spaces and outdoor terraces.
Designed by Buenos Aires based studio BAK Architects, the luxuriously simple architectural masterpiece is located in the coastal Mar Azul forest, in the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Occupying 1,790 square feet, the contemporary concrete residential building displays beautiful wood features, enhanced by the extensive use of glass. The 20m x 30m plot was enough for the architects to erect a fabulous home that encompasses two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large social area, integrated into the kitchen, for those special entertaining needs of a comfortable and vivid lifestyle. The client’s brief asked for a generous outdoor space, one that could keep up with all the modern necessities and the final result was amazing. See for yourselves in the photos below!
