Looking for a last minute Father’s Day gift for the dad who deserves more than just another silk tie or novelty coffee mug? He’s the ultimate dad, so he deserves the ultimate gift.
Here’s a thought.
Bentley recently announced it is taking orders for the 2014 Flying Spur, the 616 HP, 205 MPH ultimate luxury sports sedan which will be in showrooms this fall.
Capable of going 0-60 in just 4.3 seconds with a higher degree of luxury than any other car this quick, the Flying Spur features a 6.0 Liter, twin turbo 12-cylinder engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and full-time all-wheel drive.
Because it’s a Bentley, however, the Flying Spur is more that just brute force. The hand-crafted interior features book matched wood veneer panels, premium leathers and every seat is heated and ventilated for comfort in any weather.
Inside you’ll also find a suite of the the latest electronics. An eight inch touch screen centers the console and serves as the main interface with the vehicles infotainment system. This includes an eight speaker audio system that plays music from an on-board hard drive, CDs, DVDs, SD cards and MP3 players. Connectivity for your mobile phone is available via Bluetooth and the optional Bentley Connectivity Unit allows laptops and tablets to connect to the internet through the cars own Wi-Fi hotspot.
Starting at $205,000, the Flying Spur isn’t for every father. But if he’s earned it then don’t forget to equip it with a vanity plate that reads, “NO1DAD”.
