There are numerous smartwatches on the market now, most notably from Apple and Android, but CoWatch marks a revolution in smartwatch technology. It will be the first Amazon Alexa integrated smartwatch. For those who are not in the know, Alexa is Amazon’s advanced voice-recognition software. That’s right, you’ll be able to talk to your watch and tell it what to do.
The CoWatch promises to be a powerful bit of technology that you can have strapped to your wrist at all times. It has a dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, and up to 32 hours of battery life when placed in “Always-ON” mode. The designers behind CoWatch also stress its connectivity. The watch is compatible with iOS 9 and Android 5 and above, so you can integrate the watch into your current tech collection no matter which operating system you prefer.
CoWatch is also designed to be an operating terminal of sorts for your smart home. The device is enabled with Bluetooth 4.1 and, according to the Indiegogo page, you can use your CoWatch to “dim the lights, check on your car, turn up the heat, and interact with the devices, products, and services that matter to you most.”
For those who are concerned with aesthetics, the CoWatch comes with a customizable face so you can choose whatever look works best with your personal style.
