Residential neighborhoods have this interesting feature of hiding spectacular interiors and details. Take as example the poolside annex designed by Terra e Tuma Arquitetos for a home located in the western part of Sao Paulo. The surrounding urban fabric disappears behind a cleverly designed and confined relaxation space where water and sun join forces to create a stress-free atmosphere.
Confined between walls in a modest space, the swimming pool was built on three levels, each of them designed in the middle of the next one to showcase an exemplary realization and to make the most of the existing space. This design choice erases boundaries while constructing a relationship between levels, voids and spaces. Adjacent to the pool, there are also entertaining facilities like a campfire place or a lounge zone where relaxation is at home.
