Italian luxury brand Montegrappa and Polish brand Wealth Solutions raise a toast with a limited edition fountain pen containing the world’s oldest cognac. Holding just a drop of Gautier from 1762 in a special capsule mounted in the pen’s cap, the Cognac Pen makes a unique collector’s item.
While usually, ink is the only liquid held in fountain pens, the renowned makers of the most sought after pens, watches, cuff links, and other luxury items have raised the bar by topping the Cognac Pen with a record-setting, high-end spirit.
While the body and cap is made from oak wood, the pen is embellished with grapevine motifs on the body making reference to the noble French liquors. The nib is available in varied thickness and has been made of sterling silver or gold in the version for men, and sterling silver in the version for women. The pen can be filled by a converter or a cartridge. The men edition is 155.5 mm in length, while it stretches up to 130 mm for women.
The Cognac Pen with this unusual capsule is available in a limited edition of 110 pieces only. Each of the 10 Gold Cognac Pen is up for $15,450 while each of 100 Silver Cognac Pen is available for $5,100. Raise a toast and celebrate with every word penned down by this special Cognac Pen!
