Coach is giving the world’s most famous doll a high-fashion makeover. The luxury brand has teamed up with Mattel to create a collector’s edition version of the iconic Barbie doll.
The Coach-designed Barbie is decked out like never before. Coach Barbie is wearing the classic checked Tattersall trench coat, suede skirt, striped jumper, sandals and sunglasses. All the items are modeled after Coach’s real life spring/summer 2013 collection. Barbie even comes with her first-ever genuine leather accessory – the Classic Coach Duffle Bag, which was created in the same factories and with the same materials as Coach’s life-sized consumer handbags. The Classic Duffle includes a drawstring dust bag.
Mattel is making 13,000 of the Coach-clad Barbies. Cost is $95, and they can be purchased online and in Coach and Mattel stores worldwide.
