Portion of the proceeds go to the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation.
The Scheufele family, owners of the Swiss watch and jewelry brand Chopard, has collaborated with opera star José Carreras on a collection of writing instruments. This is the second partnership with opera star: Chopard created a limited-edition watch collection honoring Carreras in 1996. The José Carreras writing instruments pay homage to the architectural style of the Catalan Palace of Music in Barcelona, Spain, Carreras’ birthplace. A portion of the sales of each pen will go to the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation. Carreras overcame leukemia about 20 years ago and still works vigilantly on behalf of others who suffer from it. – From Robb Report
